Steps to follow:
- In a pot of salted water, cook the spaghetti for the time indicated on the package instructions. Once ready, drain and set aside.
- While pasta is cooking, take the opportunity to peel the pistachios. It won’t take more than 10 minutes, don’t worry.
- In your food processor, add the following ingredients: washed basil leaves, peeled garlic, grated Parmesan cheese, pistachios and olive oil. Blend it well.
- Put the spaghetti on a plate and mix them with the sauce you just prepared.
Tips:
We do not add salt to pesto sauce because with the flavour of the pistachios and Parmesan cheese it is not necessary, but if you want, you can add a pinch before blend it. If you do not have a scale, to give you an idea, you will need the equivalent to two handfuls of basil leaves.
